A young talented student is probably the most popular person at the high school he attends. However, he is completely oblivious to all the attention he draws and lives in a false assumption that the whole school hates him and that he is bullied. This, of course, leads to plenty of comical and even absurd situations! Synopsis: Komi continues enjoying sightseeing around New York. On the Brooklyn Bridge, Komi and the others leave Rumiko and Hitohito alone and Rumiko makes a declaration! Feeling anxious for her friend for the first time, Komi faces uncomfortable, bittersweet feelings, and her communication skills expand more and more. This show has two fundamental problems, and without them, it would be perfect. I read 119 chapters of the manga a few years ago, and I always thought it would be nearly impossible to adapt, because the artwork had a very particular charm to it which I felt would prove too difficult to capture in animation. However, my worries were rendered pointless, because not only is this show nicely animated, but the brilliant directorial decision was made to include the on-screen text gags from the manga, and the chibi faces were adapted with no compromise. Tadano makes her feel better and pulls her into a shallow pool to keep her bandage dry, then panics when he realizes he held Komi's hand.
