About this deal

Main Hi Kahaani Hoon”, an Audible Original is a weekly storytelling show of 20 episode from Audible, written-created-performed by Major Akhill Pratap; an ex-Army Officer popularly known as The Soldier and The Storyteller. Bob Mortimer is probably best know for Shooting Stars and Paul Whitehouse mostly known for The Fast Show. I m not a fishing person but just listening to Paul and Bobs’ friendly banter was a joy and I did learn quite a lot about species of fish, best rivers to fish and different types of fishing! Ignoring nearly all rock traditions, experimenting in near-total secrecy in their Dsseldorf studio, Kraftwerk fused sound and technology, graphic design and performance, mo.

Not that I think I’m going to die soon, but this made sense to me in the context of the Coronavirus pandemic. I still find the catching and examining of the fish brutal, and wish that they could be left to swim in peace, but then there wouldn’t be the beautiful programme to watch.I never thought I'd see the day when I would whole-heartedly recommend an audiobook over an actual, real, phsyical book, but here I am. Swap out a starting pint of best for a pint of mild, when you can find one, and Bob’s pub drinking technique and mine are in tandem. They are both warm and inviting, they don't rely on mean humour and are genuinely interested in each other. It explains their health issues and you understand why they are having a good time and enjoying life, but they are very funny and it is a If very uplifting read. Not only do we have a wide choice of used books available, we'll also send your next read to you free of charge.

I read an article about Adam Buxton recently, in which his former comedy partner Joe Cornish said something that made sense of why I often shy away from one person in a double act. Both authors have undergone serious heart surgery so the real message in this story is the importance of making the most of your life because you really have no idea which day is going to be your last. Bob says something interesting in regard to being seriously ill, about considering the limited time we actually have on the planet and how we ought to slow down and enjoy the small moments. However their other thesis that life is short, so die fishing if you love it, is well made; gently and touchingly in places. While I'm not remotely interested in fishing, I did really enjoy the TV series which prompted this book, so thought I would give it a go.
