About this deal

Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page. Even the lowest level of High Dynamic Range (HDR) feature poses a significant upgrade to common monitors. The Samsung has a 5120x1440 resolution, it has better ergonomics, it gets much brighter, supports HDR, and has a quicker response time. The AMD FreeSync Premium Technology ensures that the GPU’s and monitor’s refresh rates are synchronised, which provides a fluid, tear free gaming experience at highest performance. My minor complaints aside, via the OSD you can adjust many features, including contrast, brightness and gamma.

The designer monitor for gaming, streaming, and graphics: frameless 32" mini LED display with 4K resolution, two speakers, and high 144Hz refresh rate. The AOC CQ32G1 has a mediocre response time, worse than the AOC CQ27G1 and most other 144Hz monitors.

Maximum immersion: our AOC monitors come with special lighting at the back of the device that illuminates your gaming setup in various colours. Our Lowbue Light feature reduces the harmful wavelengths emitted without sacrificing colour composition, setting the experience free from the worry of eye damage. All three monitors are comparable here, and despite not being a DCI-P3-native monitor, the AOC does alright here too. Despite having a VA panel, it's a decent choice for office use as it has fairly wide viewing angles and it gets bright enough to combat glare. For movies, music, games and more, you’ll enjoy quality audio without the hassle of connecting external speakers. If someone comes across a different type of panel or if their CQ32G1 doesn't correspond to our review, please let us know and we'll update the review.

At first, I was kind of excited about the one-button setup, but after using it for a few weeks, it feels clumsy. However, the AOC gets brighter, it has wider viewing angles, the out-of-the-box color accuracy is better, and it has a black frame insertion feature to clear up motion blur. Although monitors with VA panels usually have narrow viewing angles, the AOC CQ32G1 has a surprisingly decent horizontal viewing angle.

The monitor has native FreeSync support and it's G-SYNC compatible, although the latter only works over a DisplayPort connection. With a well-sized curved panel, you may even find yourself able to focus on your work more, as your tasks fill your view. It's a good choice for gaming thanks to its 144Hz refresh rate, VRR support, and extremely low input lag.

A 165Hz refresh rate, well over twice the industry standard of 60Hz, makes games run smooth as silk. AOC Gaming C32G2 is in a class of its own, bringing an incredibly fast 1ms (MPRT) response time and a 165Hz refresh rate into one sleek battle machine for people who demand uncompromising speed and image quality. The color temperature is a bit on the warm side and gamma follows the curve fairly well, but dark scenes are too dark, and bright scenes are too bright. The recommended overdrive setting is 'Medium', so you might have to change the setting if your game's frame rate drops.
