The candle wax is 100% natural, a blend of coconut oil, soy and beeswax and is designed to optimally diffuse its fragrance and contains at least 10% of creamy Black Vanilla fragrance. The opening is overpowering sickly sweet peach that I just do not enjoy, very heavy on the peach in the opening.

A warm woody-ambery accord along with rich black vanilla and a touch of alluring leathery musk completes the oriental character of the composition. As it fades, it becomes lovelier - I just spend this morning going 'damn, I actually smell amazing'. I like this scent but I find it boring, I think 10+ years ago I would have loved this, as I had loved TBS’s vanilla oil, and was so sad then that they stopped producing it. Something like Guerlain Cuir Beluga accomplishes this brilliant and while I love that, Mancera Black Vanilla does not quite hit the mark.Before using a Mancera product, please read the list of ingredients on its packaging to ensure that the ingredients are suitable for your personal use. It does lean a little feminine but like I said the vanilla actually saves it from being too feminine and it ends up being equally sweet fruits and light floral laying on a bed of a pile of vanilla beans. Combining spices, exotic flowers and black vanilla pods to create an absolute seductive experience for the senses.

Only liked this upon first spray - I'm not a huge fan of black currant, so it wasn't an immediate love.

Gave it a few more seconds and got a lot more fruit, then the violet which is what I assume gives it this powdery feel to it, then it settled into this lovely everyday scent that balanced the notes pretty well. This Black Gold is different than any other scent--yet we have all experienced Leather, Woody Notes and Vetiver. On myself this scent leans very soapy which I did not expect at all from a name like Black Vanilla . That disappeared fast and gave way to some peach, jasmine ROSE and maybe I got the bergamot—just a little.
