About this deal

I chose this book because it was described as laugh out loud and hilarious, both on the cover, and in multiple reviews in the description.

The author book on a serious subject, covered it up in pretty colors with a plot so deep and realistic that it punches you in the gut with the struggle that comes with the idea of an ideal marriage life or simply the life of modern women these days. Talking to a relationship counselor can give you a chance to unpack how you feel and the best ways to handle your friendship moving forward. This is a companion book to Sorry, Not Sorry (which I wasn't a huge fan of) but you don't need to read that to read this and I really enjoyed No, We Can't Be Friends. When her life falls apart on the eve of her 40th birthday, Kate Parker finds herself volunteering at the Lauderdale House for Exceptional Ladies. I am not a big reader of books on infidelity, especially ones that play such a significant role in the entire book. Perhaps she's not attracted to people of your gender, she's focusing on her career or education, or she simply values your platonic relationship, etc.

After 20 failed interviews she thought she’d got her dream job as a journalist - except it turns out to be writing articles about cats that look like George Clooney. The main character is supposedly a "feminist" to the point she won't change her last name when married, but when she thinks she might have been cheated on she falls apart and blames herself allowing herself to be gaslighted numerous times. She'd found The One at last and she could finally delete Tinder, forgetting all those waste-of-space men she'd never have to date again. However, as mentioned above, if you feel a strong need for a relationship, it could be a sign that you need emotional guidance that you aren't already getting. No, We Can’t Be Friends is a brilliantly relatable, hilarious and feel-good novel that every woman with a waste-of-space ex HAS to read! Sloane gets some of the best advice from Vivienne that I've ever heard for this type of dilemma: "Don't waste the best years of your life on a man who'll only ever love himself.

If you’re a fan of romantic comedies by Sophie Kinsella and Lindsey Kelk, and TV shows like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin, pick up this unmissable book – you won’t regret it. Julian Jessop, an eccentric, lonely artist and septuagenarian believes that most people aren’t really honest with each other. But when she chooses unknown magazine reporter Monique Grant for the job, no one in the journalism community is more astounded than Monique herself. Oh, he can still make her laugh, and her body might still crave the warmth of his body in their bed, but how do you reconcile this with the secret text message 'I have never loved her. This one isn't attached to INTO THE DIM any more, and the one that is by INTO THE DIM doesn't have any of my friends/comments/info. In addition to rage, this book stirs other emotions, with Sloane's difficult emotional journey including her childhood baggage. I was using the free trial, was just about to take the little one out for a walk and fancied a book to listen to and impulse bought the first romance chick lit book I saw on there so we could just get out the house. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.
