About this deal

It is different to all my other Corner Bookmark Designs, as the basic Origami pattern is based on the Origami Heart Bookmark and not the traditional “ Origami Corner Bookmark DIY“. After much fiddling with the traditional design, I decided to base the Origami Dragon Bookmark on Willowday’s wonderful Unicorn Bookmark. Do hop over and take a look at this design too!! Isn’t it lovely? And just perfect for a Dragon, don’t you think? Enjoy. Your Hug a Book Toothless Dragon Bookmark is now finished! Your kids are all set to get reading and keep their place in their favourite funny book! If you think this model is too hard, try also the simplified version: Origami Chibi Dragon Bookmark. Paper Our Hug a Book Bookmark series continues. We brought you gorgeous Mermaid Bookmarks and fantastic Pug Bookmarks (love the hug a book tie) and am sure will have many more Hug a Book Bookmark Designs for you over coming months… today, we made a Toothless Bookmark – ie a Dragon Bookmark from the fabulous story How To Train a Dragon. A facebook reader of mine first made this Toothless Hug a Book Bookmark after seeing our Pugs and shared it with me. I thought it was so adorable, I asked her if I could recreate it for YOU and she said yes! So here it is, with a big thanks to Mags K!

These Dragon Bookmarks would also be perfect as a Chinese New Year Craft for Kid s, don’t you think!? The red dragon would also make a lovely Dragon Bookmark for our Welsh readers on St David’s Day! Sometimes, it just takes a little thing like a bookmark to give children the motivation and encouragement they need to really get into reading. This is especially true if you can find just the right bookmark to suit their interests, which is why we've been hard at work making a wonderful range of printable bookmarks. Here are just a few we think would work well alongside these dragon bookmarks to colour: In 2015 I’ve created the original non-bookmark version of the Dragon v1from a combination of crane and frog bases. But only in 2018, after the creation of the Crane Boomark, many of my viewers requested to do the same with the dragon – and it worked pretty well!
