About this deal

The increased cooling challenges posed by Raptor Lake mean that we’ve had to change some of the ways we test coolers. The vast majority of Liquid Coolers on the market today are based around Asetek designs, but DeepCool’s LT720 includes a 4th generation in-house designed water pump. After a quick look at the front and back of the box, we’re greeted with a brown box with green accenting and a white cardboard sleeve clearly highlighting the model name and specifications, overall appearing clear and concise. We’ll provide noise level measurements recorded using a PSPL25 Sound Meter for all three power levels tested, to compare how much noise each cooler makes in different scenarios.

Most liquid coolers and all air coolers I’ve tested “failed” that test because the CPU reached TJ max in this scenario. WCUK Online Ltd is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 824034) and acts as a credit intermediary. An additional brown box inside the package includes the manual and accessories bag, with mounting kits for Intel 115x, 1200, and 1700 and AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets. Anti-Leak Tech means that inside the radiator is an elastic pressure-relief bag with one side exposed to the air and the other side submerged in the coolant. As we have seen previously the radiator features DeepCool Anti-Leak Technology which helps to prevent leakage.

Quick and easy install on an i9-13900k with a Thermalright contact frame and haven’t heard the fans once, although I’ve only been gaming so far and haven’t pushed the CPU much for big renders and such. Willingness to think outside the box and try new things has resulted in the company's continued growth and increased brand awareness, as they regularly release unique and attention-grabbing designs. Note there are many factors other than the CPU cooler that can influence your cooling performance, including the case you use and the fans installed in it. They have new flow channels, an optimised skived copper block, and a three-phase drive motor that turns at 3100 rpm.

Tom's Hardware is part of Future US Inc, an international media group and leading digital publisher. Doing so may void the warranty, but in all likelihood, the warranty is going to be expired by the time you would need to refill the loop. DeepCool has come a long way since its founding in 1996, with the company now having a massive lineup of quality products. We opted for a push configuration in the case’s roof and used the smaller screws to mount the radiator flush to the roof panel. This temperature is deducted from the current room temperature, and our final delta temperature is provided. Maximize cooling potential with DeepCool FK120 fans that are balanced to perfection for both performance and operational efficiency.

DeepCool pre-mount the screws into the backplate used on Intel 115x, 1200, and 1700 socket motherboards. The FK120s are high static pressure fans with a PWM speed range of 500-2250 RPM, a maximum airflow rate of 85. These units come with FK120 Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) PWM fans, the same fans used on the AK-series air CPU coolers, to cool the radiator. DeepCool uses small magnets around the screw threads in the pump housing, making it a lot easier to install the brackets. DeepCool’s LT720 provides top-tier cooling performance, handing loads up to about 315W when paired with Intel’s i9-13900K in our test setup.
