About this deal

Pro or not, this kill is mine. I promise you, he’ll never see the light of day. So, you can just go.” Atticus is the oldest adopted son of Thomas Mulvaney. Atticus doesn’t particularly enjoy his after hours job of killing people, but he likes being perfect - he is a talented “mimic” and just mirrors people’s behaviors to appear normal.

My favorite book in the series so far! I enjoyed this one from start to finish. With book one and two I was forcing myself to read them both at times (book 2 more than book 1) but I was pleased that didn’t happen this time around. 🤗 Jericho and Atticus have my entire heart, I could not have loved them more!!! Especially Jericho. 🤭 Wait!!! Wait!! I think I kind of wrote the same review for the 1st book and…2nd.🤔🤔 Oopsie, it seems we have the same plot, same execution then why the hell did I give it 4 stars??? Atticus nodded. It wasn’t what he would have done, but it wasn’t his kill so, technically, it wasn’t his problem. Not that he was planning on telling anybody but his father any of this. “So, just out of curiosity, what was the right answer? Where are you from?” The scent of urine and blood was cloying, competing in Atticus’s nostrils with the fetid dirt and vegetation from moments ago. When Atticus and Jericho come face to face over a shared enemy, their accidental meeting ends in an explosively hot hookup neither can forget. But they have nothing in common. Atticus is a buttoned-up closeted scientist and Jericho is a man on a mission, determined to find and punish those responsible for the death of his sister. Still, Jericho can’t stay away. And, truthfully, Atticus doesn’t want him to.As Jericho’s mission begins to bleed into Atticus’s life, two separate but equally brutal families will need to learn how to fight together to take out a common enemy. But no amount of brute force can show Jericho how to scale the walls of a psychopath’s heart. Can Jericho convince Atticus that, sometimes, the couple who kills together stays together? He'd never thought of himself as same sex oriented, but there was no denying he was Jericho-sexual. He just did it for him in every way."

Wow - I really wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this book because in previous books, Atticus was definitely not a favorite brother of mine! He’s always been kind of buttoned up and rude, especially to his brother’s boyfriends. But he won me over, the little beh-beh. Jericho kissed him again. “Good. ‘Cause I have no problems killing to protect what’s mine. I’m sure you know that by now.” It was all for the best, he supposed. He wasn’t gay. Even if he was, what was he going to do? Ask Jericho on a date? They weren’t even living on the same planet. Besides, Atticus had to keep up appearances. As the oldest, Thomas expected more from him. That was just how it was. His father wouldn’t care if Atticus was gay. Hell, Thomas was gay. His brothers were gay, some were bi. It was just… He couldn’t be. He couldn’t. Being straight was just…easier. Girls were fine. They were soft and smelled nice. He had a plan for his life and it didn’t involve jerking off beautiful murderers in creepy cabins. No matter how intense his orgasm had been. ETA: Continuing my re-read by listening to the audiobooks. Atticus and Jericho have always been one of my top couples (honestly, it's very very hard to rank the couples in this series yall lol) and I've really enjoyed getting a refresh with their story in audio. It's just excellent! Still, Jericho cant stay away. And, truthfully, Atticus doesn’t want him to.

It took a hot minute but eventually Atticus grew on me. Like the saying goes, Jericho makes him a better man. Yeah, I can’t do that. I need to see him dead. And I don’t know you, so your promises don’t mean a whole helluva lot. No offense,” Atticus said, making sure his tone implied full offense.

Heavy breathing filled the room, and Trevor’s eyes darted around as if the answer might magically appear on the wall. When Atticus and Jericho meet the attraction is instantaneous, despite the unusual circumstances. The fact that Atticus isn't gay doesn't seem to be a problem either.... I loved all of Jericho’s boys and I can't wait for that series to come out. Plus the teases of Aiden/Thomas and Avi/Felix??? Excited is an understatement for how I feel about their books. Jericho described Atticus as a pillow princess and folks...it suits him perfectly!!! The sex scenes were incredible. Usually I’m not too big on a million sex scenes in a book but here I was happy as a clam because they were so damn good!!! I loved seeing how much Atticus appreciated Jericho telling him what to do about...anything. Atticus doesn’t know what he wants to eat tonight? Jericho has it covered. Atticus needs someone killed? Jericho’s got it! He got to be taken care of in all regards 😏😌 and be the glorious pillow princess he is!!!Adam Mulvaney lives a double life. By day, he’s the spoiled youngest son of an eccentric billionaire. By night, he’s an unrepentant killer, one of seven psychopaths raised to right the wrongs of a justice system that keeps failing.
