About this deal

Adding warm water to the removal process helps loosen make-up as well. Make-up remover cloths in action The brand definitely matters. I use the Makeup Eraser, I’m on my second one after 2 years. It’s perfect for sensitive, acne-prone skin and it definitely does get rid of EVERY shred of makeup. Reply

Hola, s! I’m glad I’m not alone. I’ve been using oil cleansers for a while now when removing my makeup, but I can never avoid getting them into my eye. I really hoped that this would be the solution to my stinging, red eyes but alas, probs not.Can overexfoliate – The make-up remover cloth requires a bit of scrubbing, which can irritate your skin if daily physical exfoliation is too much for your skin. Verdict I got a couple Wonder Cloths at Bed Bath and Beyond over the past few years. So I found when I tried the Sephora brand that was probably more like Makeup Eraser, that it did not have the same ‘slip’ and I didn’t like it as much as I assumed I would. Reply Rubbing and tugging – If your make-up is particularly stubborn, it might not come off without rubbing and tugging. I found this to be a particularly big problem with eye make-up. I just knew you reviewed these! I guess my question to you is this… if theoretically you could remove all of the makeup and products from your skin using only water, is that healthy if not using too much force in the skin regularly. I do believe physical exfoliation is important occasionally but am I missing out on putting another product in my skin? Reply

WATER ACTIVATED: Effortlessly removes makeup, dirt and oil with just warm water. No additional makeup remover required!According to 86% of our testers, this cloth effectively removed all traces of makeup with just water. They appreciated that its soft material was kind on the skin and that it's large, so they could cover different areas with a fresh bit of material each time. 93% found it easy to wash, saying that it retained its colour and shape and that there was minimal staining. Although some testers found it hard to remove waterproof mascara, 86% would happily swap this cloth for disposable pads. It also took off most makeup in our lab test, scoring six out of 10. We liked When referring to the video…trust me when I say…I have tried to make many videos where It does not appear that I am tugging. No matter how soft I am…it always looks like I am tugging. So I understand that it appears she is putting more pressure than she actually is. It actually unwinds and activates (by unwinding) the fibers in the cloth so they can work their magic. They explain it really well on the talk show The Doctors. It’s pretty interesting. Norwex works on everything (including lip stain, but I don’t recommend it) and has an anti-microbial agent in it to keep bacterial growth down between washings. Thanks for the great review, I’ve been wondering about this. I do tend to kind of scrub my face with a washcloth probably harder than I should, but I agree that rough rubbing around the eyes is a no no!

It takes your makeup off with absolute ease, it’s chemical free, affordable, great for sensitive skin as well as gently exfoliating. I tested it on my heavy eye makeup and it worked like a breeze. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!” First I gotta say how angry I am at myself for paying so much money for makeup remover all these years! Bubble fleece/minky fabric – Supposedly this is similar to make-up remover cloth fabric. I haven’t tried this yet but if it works, this would be a great way to get a whole bunch of cloths on rotation! The MINI: not my favorite. I just don’t feel like you get the ease of the process with such a small cloth (for first timers).

These really do take off your makeup but you’re right – the eye area requires more attention so I prefer to still use a cleanser (Goodness Break-Up Make-Up Balm at night and Natio Ageless Gentle Cleansing Milk in the morning) first and then wipe off the cleanser using the cloth. Reply The Washing: as a nurse and per a dermatologist the cloth actually does not harbor or grow bacteria. The fibers are to small for bacteria to live on. What is removed is trapped in the cloth until the properties are changed when soap and agitation is introduced. I’ve been really interested in these but haven’t taken the plunge. I use a daily leave on chemical exfoliation lotion so I don’t feel like I have to actually physically exfoliate anymore. Now I will put them out of my mind, no way do I want to rub my face too hard. Especially right before I apply retinol or salicylic acid, OUCH! Bacterial buildup – The cloths recommend that you wring them out and dry them after each use, with a wash once a week, but without a cleanser or soap it’s possible that you’ll get bacteria growing on the cloth. You could buy enough so you can wash each one after one use, but realistically not many people are going to do that. Theoretically, the make-up remover cloths made from synthetic fibres will be more resistant to bacterial growth than the ones that use cotton, since you can squeeze them dry more easily.

Agreed! I will be returning these immediately. It took 3 days for my eye area to return to normal!! Do you have a recommendation for just a mini washcloth to use along with normal facial cleansing routine? I just find scooping water makes such a mess which is why I’d like a cloth.Costco Online UK Limited, UK Home Office, Hartspring Lane, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD25 8JS. Registered in England and Wales No. 8055444 Carbonfree Certified determine the carbon footprint of the product, and associated carbon emissions are offset with reduction projects. I can see myself using this along with make-up remover, but I don’t think I can let go of my cleansing products completely… except maybe on a particularly lazy night. Even then, I’m using a two-phase remover for my eyes (mega-review coming soon!). Make-up Remover Cloths I bought one of these, and I use it sometimes, but really it just doesn’t work *that* well, not well enough to replace normal makeup removers. Reply The key difference between these make-up remover cloths and regular washcloths is surface area. The dense pile is made of many small threads, so there are a lot more threads in cloth than if they were normal sized.
