About this deal

It’s perfect for casual wear in any scenario …seems like Boss hit the mark with this one as a summer freshie. For me, this Hugo reversed is an amalgamation of several different fragrances I've smelled in the past.

To prolong the scent for longer, apply your fragrance on the inside of the wrists and behind the earlobe.but when its on the skin, while the scent is really good, its performance is slightly less impressive. If you're looking for a great summer fragrance that's a people pleaser and lasts long during hot summer days, this is definitely worth your consideration. Protect your fragrance from direct sunlight and heat, otherwise the composition of the fragrance could be altered and become a sad memory of your favorite aroma.

Hugo Reversed was one of those "must-have cheapies" for about two months, at which point discounters, far and wide, went "oh, people like this? Hugo Reversed opens with a blast of tangy grapefruit and Calabrian bergamot that instantly wakes up your senses. It gives Hugo Reversed an exceptional longevity and makes the fragrance linger on your skin for hours on end. You won’t really notice any difference between a product purchased from Perfume’s Club and a product purchased from a seller in our new Marketplace. There's an excellent recent release from Azzaro which reminds me a lot of this one Azzaro pour homme Cologne Intense, very similar though I haven't tried them side by side, the Azzaro seems stronger though. I like the sharpness and zesty effect of lemon, I believe this is quite apparent because of high amounts of Citronellol. Some fragrances are too heavy-handed with being aquatic, so I can really see why someone would like this.

It’s actually amusing how something so inexpensive with such a simple note breakdown is so similar to something far more expensive and allegedly complex. Since the year 2000 I have been a faithful follower of Boss Bottle and especially of the first creation of the line made by Annick Menardo, I have always preferred "Boss Bottle" line over "Hugo" that although it has many that smell very pleasant, they do not work on my skin at all, but how wonderful this "Reverse" was love at first sniff, I can easily say that it is my favorite from the Hugo line. The heart notes, composed of papyrus and vetiver, add a sophisticated and earthy dimension, lending an air of modernity. I do sales for a living, so I need something almost universally liked and subtle, something no "cologney". However because of its synthetic nuances and sweetness I’d pass over this and take something like Missoni Wave/Pour Homme or Chrome extreme. It's not aquatic as Aqua di gio profondo or Mr burberry but instead it's more citrus in the opening but the dry down is fairly close to the same as ADG profondo and Mr burberry. It won't offend anyone, but surely is not going to cut it for the colder months, even with the sweetness it brings to the citrus here. With its enduring longevity and confident sillage, Hugo Boss Hugo Reversed ensures you leave a lasting impression wherever you go. For the first hour, Dylan Blue was my favourite, but as the hours passed, Reversed started winning me over.

When the scent finally starts to fade, I don't notice a change in the scent apart from it slowly getting weaker. I love the opening of Dylan Blue but find the dry down to strong (mainly the ambroxan) and I can't stand it unfortunately. Smells very fresh and clean with the sharp citrus and that green herbalness coming from the rosemary.
