Delicious Alchemy Gluten Free Rice Flake Porridge is perfect for people who cannot tolerate gluten free oats or who simply enjoy a little variety in the mornings.

Desserts or snacks such as cookies and brownies are also often based around wheat flour, which naturally contains gluten. The baking mixes are both gluten AND dairy free and everything comes in the most beautiful packaging (a massive thumbs up for me as I like pretty cupboards!Stir 250ml water or 200ml semi-skimmed milk (or dairy-free alternative) into 50g of porridge in a microwaveable bowl. I don’t have an intolerance to gluten but if I eat a lot of wheat (and/or dairy) I get hives all over my hands.Delicious Alchemy sent me their porridge alternative to try, just rice flakes, no oats in this porridge ! Tried these for breakfast because my husband's system cannot tolerate oats but he loves porridge - and indeed rice pudding! I put a cup full of these rice flakes in a large bowl and add a grated pear and a sliced banana, then nuke it in the microwave for 3 or 4 minutes, with a couple of stirs between. After I was diagnosed with coeliac disease, I also found out I was intolerant to oats so I started looking for a substitute…hello Delicious Alchemy Rice Flakes!

This is delicious and can be eaten with many different toppings such as dried fruits, honey, fruit syrups and whatever takes your fancy really.
