I loved the main trio, I loved the supporting characters, the cute and innocent, the dark and gray ones, and I absolutely loved the villain so, so much. He later escapes after going into a contract with the chain Alice, and things only get better from there. Overall, the story isn't like anything else I've ever read; and the development of each character really shines at different points and you can tell how much effort Mochizuki sensei put into developing each of their stories. I think how in-depth everything is is a big reason why not many people can keep up with the series, but everything becomes clear at the end of the story.
