The durability of any coating can be impacted by many factors, such as mileage driven, weather, climate, products used for aftercare and how well the surface was prepared prior to application. The UHD Wax doesn’t have any cleansers in it, so the immaculate white finish is all due to the cleaning abilities of the UHD Shampoo. UHD Shampoo might have hogged much of the limelight in recent years but that doesn’t mean that the original UHD product, Ultra High Definition Wax, is any less remarkable or effective. Developed upon the oh-so-solid foundations of HD Wax, UHD takes things several stages further in an attempt to provide unrivaled paintwork protection, all while imbuing paintwork with a deep lustre that really ‘pops’ – endowing the recipient car with a real showroom fresh demeanor. It is possible, but there is a limited gain from doing so. It is not something we would recommend. On-going cleaning with UHD Shampoo and periodic applications of UHD Wax would be more effective. UHD Ceramic Coating should be applied on mild dry weather days with an optimum temperature between 10-25⁰C. There is no real benefit to adding this stage to your car care process. Using Ultra high Definition Wax on top of Extra Gloss Protection will only enhance durability marginally. It won’t harm the finish, but we do not recommend using Ultra High Definition Wax in conjunction with Extra Gloss Protection. It is an alternative way of waxing and protecting your paintwork. UHD Ceramic Coating creates a tough, protective barrier for maximum resistance against the natural environment.

Dampen the white side of the supplied wax applicator. Gently dab the applicator on the wax in the pot and then apply to clean, dry paintwork in a light circular motion, leaving a thin even layer on all painted surfaces. Do not over apply as this may make the wax difficult to buff later. Do not apply to unpainted rubber or unpainted plastic trim. If you used the recommended dilution ratio of 4 cap fulls (40ml) per 10 litres of water and you washed your car every week, you should expect the shampoo to last for 25 weeks. If you used 2 cap fulls instead (20ml) per 10 litres of water, then you should expect the shampoo to last for 50, presuming it was washed once per week. The Results
