Visual art therapy (also known as 'art therapy') involves using visual art materials. For example, you might use pens, pencils, crayons, paint, chalk, clay or collaging. You might also use digital media, such as photos or video. You don't need to have any art skills or experience. Mischief Theatre begin their year-long residency at the Vaudeville Theatre with Groan Ups. Groan Ups runs from 20 Sept. - 1 Dec. 2019. 2019: Magic Goes Wrong at Vaudeville Theatre The second play in the year-long residency, Magic Goes Wrong, opens at Vaudeville Theatre. Magic Goes Wrong begins performances on 14 December. The pandemic shuts down performances in March 2020, and the third and final production in the season is never revealed. 2019: The Goes Wrong Show airs on BBC Another example of Disney’s use of experiential technology is Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge lands. The attraction uses a mixture of real-time content delivery and live interaction to deliver a unique immersive experience for every guest. Therefore, each visitor enjoys a slightly different experience and story based on their interactions.

Wake The Tiger in Bristol, UK, is described as an experiential art gallery, interactive theme park and detailed film set. “You have to see it to believe it,” said Lak Mitchell, Wake The Tiger’s creative director. “Wake The Tiger is an abandoned time capsule of fantastical experiences just waiting to be discovered.” When Erin Wamsley joined Bob’s lab in 2007, researchers knew that sleep supported memory evolution by processing new memories from the day before. But they didn’t know if or how dreaming contributed to this process. Two Bit Circus, creators of the world’s first ‘micro-amusement park’ in LA, is now expanding to include experiential hotels known as Revelers Resorts in Colorado and Connecticut. Throughout the 6 weekly sessions, we’ll give you helpful tips and advice on how to approach financial matters in a calmer and more knowledgeable way. We’ll look at budgeting tips, savings, income, spending, fraud and how to avoid unnecessary debt. The group will allow you to discuss your financial worries in a safe and friendly environment, gaining valuable knowledge on how to manage your money more effectively. It is intriguing to watch a cast of actors who are themselves playing actors but it sometimes appears too flamboyant and actorly, their comic exaggerations undercutting rather than compounding the tension. There will be an opportunity to speak to the cast in character and a question and answer session after each performance. Know My Mind is a community theatre group in Croydon raising awareness of mental health through therapeutic theatre. Councillor Janet Campbell, deputy cabinet member for families, health and social care, “I am pleased that we have the opportunity to use the arts in Croydon to explore these powerful issues surrounding mental health and wellbeing. Around one in six adults experiences a common mental health problem at any one time. A deluge of life issues, or simply one incident like feeling lonely or isolated, bereavement or unemployment can negatively impact on a person’s mental wellbeing.

Our vision is to work in an arts sector where there is equal opportunity for performers with learning disabilities: a world where performers are trained, respected and employed equally, and feature every day on our stages and screens. To provide an award-winning cultural experience, Casa Batlló utilised the latest projection technology. One room has 36 projectors and a dome with over 1,000 screens to represent the mind of a young Gaudí. The natural universe that inspired the architect comes to life, letting guests participate in the creative experience. Fisher describes AREA15, an experiential art and entertainment complex, as “an imagination box”. Highlights include a Japanese maple tree and canopy with more than 5,000 LED lights. There is also an immersive audio and visual experience inside a 360-degree projection-mapped room. Ekanem Hines, also a former social worker with over thirty years’ experience working in mental health, “I would like to thank Croydon Council for providing these free platforms for us to showcase such important issues to people in the borough. These films and the stage performance depict honest and thought-provoking accounts of what it is like to experience mental health issues in today’s society. They aim to touch the audience emotionally and physically by shining a spotlight on mental health issues from the perspective of service users and carers.” Freight details: The show fits into a small van / large car.
