About this deal

If you’re using a material that’s already masked like the Glowforge draftboard, peel off half of one side of the masking. I find that using a craft knife to score the mask before I peel it off makes things easier. If darker colors are more your thing, but you like your decor to have some color and character as well, these signs just might be perfect. These come in various sizes depending on your preference and can be placed anywhere on the porch you think would have the best effect. 25. Hello Spring White and Bright Spring is about to spring! This is a lovely time and a favorite season of many because of the life sprouting and growing. It can also be a fun time in the home as well. Are you prepared to decorate your house to reflect the new season of the year? Many people use the beginning of spring as a time to “spring clean” and spiff up their living environment with new decor, plants, scents, and more. But have you thought of the outside of your house? 26 Fun Spring Porch Signs to Spiff Up Your Exterior for the New Season You can then paint your pieces however you like. For this project, I went with spray paint ( Montana Gold is my go-to brand), but you can also use craft paint like I did for this Halloween sign. Assemble Your Hello Spring Sign Let’s get ready for warm weather and bright sunny days with a fun Hello Spring Wood Sign tutorial. This DIY is simple and only takes a few supplies you can get from Chalk Couture. No fancy artistic abilities needed!! Simply follow along and make this beautiful wood sign for your entire family to enjoy.

Not a fan of the whole spring thing? You can still decorate in a charming, classy way! This initial and nameplate sign is perfect to proudly display your family name. Just pop it right on the front of the door for a beautiful, non-spring related way to add a little character to your porch. 17. Please Remove Your Shoes Before Entering

26. Reminders to Relax Traditional Font

Here’s what you should have. The only pieces you can discard (or throw into a scrap drawer—I keep pretty much all my scraps around here!) are the inside of the watering can handle and the little triangle right above that. Remove the Mask

Welcome the season with this Hello Spring Wood Sign! Follow along with my DIY tutorial and make one for your home with a few simple craft supplies. Now, this sign is a true masterwork of art! Being twisted to form letters, this bright green wire art spring porch sign is the perfect thing to place on your door to welcome the new season. The cute yellow fabric sunflower placed jauntily at the end is a nice final touch to an already impressive piece of decor. 19. Teal and White Happy Spring

Now separate your pieces into the different colors you’re going to use. Note that the interiors of the letters will be the same color as the watering can itself.

Once you have the basecoat on the wood sign surface, allow it to dry before moving onto the next step. Adding the Hello Spring details:

For the way I am crafting the sign, I don’t need the cutout layer, so I deleted it and resized the two pieces to fit on a single piece of draftboard—about 10″ tall in this case. To make assembling this project easier, I am using 3M double-sided adhesive. It’s basically a sheet of double-sided tape that will allow you to assemble the project without glue. Hooray! Shoes in the house are a big no-no in some households. If this is the case for you and you’re tired of having to gently prod people into respecting your house rules, consider this sign. Hopefully, since it’s prefaced by a cheery “Welcome”, guests won’t be able to disregard it without some embarrassment. 18. Bright Green Hello Spring Twist Want a little 3D pop to your decor? This cute little porch sign has adorable felt flowers on two corners of the canvas, making it the perfect thing to capture a bit of the feeling of nature for people who can’t or won’t plant real flowers. The text itself is bright yellow gives off a super friendly, super cheery vibe. 24. Hello Spring with a DaisyOne sheet of Glowforge proof-grade draftboard or other material of your choice (wood, acrylic, etc.) This is another sign for those looking for simplicity. Don’t like to mince words or use gaudy colors and designs? A simple “Welcome” should suffice! A large, sturdy, light brown rectangular sign with “Welcome” in bright white, capital letters cannot be missed or misunderstood. 22. Colorful Dark Brown Hello Spring For a truly unique spring decoration for the porch, this interesting cascade of letters just might be the thing. The beautifully painted hot pink pictures of various birds and plants and flowers on the separate letters S, P, R, I, N, G, connected by carefully worked pieces of twine is a very bright declaration of happiness that spring has arrived. 21. Simple Large Brown Wood Welcome Next, I created a custom color by mixing Candy Apple and Bright White Chalkology Paste. This is the color I then used for the flower buds on the transfer.
