About this deal

While there is a conflict, I mean it is a second chance after all, it felt realistic and actually made sense to the plot. Parents will love the opportunities Forget Me Not presents for positive, deep conversations about acceptance, empathy, and being true to yourself. For the most part, Ama’s POV was in the present and Elliot’s POV was in the past leading up to their breakup. Being able to come back to one another, with multiple circumstances standing in the way, is what really pulled at my heart strings. It really felt like the story kept the perfect pace to make its characters feel the most true to themselves and the plot.

I do think I would’ve enjoyed this much more if we’d seen some flashbacks of them falling in love and their relationship developing, though. That's not a bad thing but I'm confused why that was done so much instead of just taking or ripping them off. Jackie and Hazel, whose wedding Ama was planning, were great characters that never overshadowed the MCs.That’s saying something too because I just got glasses so I’ve been seeing things in a whole new light, but this cover still takes the cake. The depth of his affection for her is truly remarkable, and the lengths to which he goes for her are both heartwarming and genuinely touching.

Ama learns about herself through the work on the wedding; she grows stronger and more confident and I just loved that for her because she is damn good at what she does.I was hoping that maybe Ama is gonna explain to him why she was conflicted on the day he asked her to marry her and you know, full-on confessions, but there was none. I haven’t read many romance novels with a wedding planning setting, and it was fun getting to experience the ins and outs of what goes on behind the scenes, while also seeing Ama and Elliot’s creative genius at play. Her wet hair is hanging down around her face in messy tangles, and her mouth is open just enough to see the teeny-tiny gap in her front teeth. But, in combination with all the other elements of this story, it was honestly just pure and easy fun with a little angsty pining thrown in the mix. Anyway, he’s incredibly hot and brooding and Ama takes one look at him when she’s nineteen and is like, yep, I’ll have him, please and thank you.

Alyson Derrick was born and raised in Greenville, Pennsylvania, a town where burn barrels take the place of recycling bins. Nota: Se me hace muy lindo que las autoras sigan haciendo a sus personajes como ellas dos, es super romántico y hace que los ame más. The screen lights up with a photo of me, which I’m sure looks slightly egotistical or at least super weird from the outside.

I appreciate how the author shows Stevie’s painful discoveries and her decisions based on what she learns.
