About this deal

Customer Review:"I've tried other lubes that were too watery or too gel-like. This is the perfect balance of both."

Lube is to anal sex what communication is to a healthy relationship: vital. Without lubrication, anal sex isn’t just less pleasurable, but often painful—and anal shouldn't painful, says Jordan Soper, PsyD, an AASECT-certified sex therapist. But with lube and a little patience, anal play can be downright orgasmic. On the other hand, if you're using a condom, a dental dam, or any other kind of latex barrier, opt for a silicone- or water-based formula. That's because "oils break down the latex in condoms," says Oriowo. "Generally speaking, as long as you're not using a silicone toy, you want a silicone-based lube."Remember, as they contain silicone, they are not safe to use with silicone sex toys. Best hybrid anal lubes Hearst UK is the trading name of the National Magazine Company Ltd, 30 Panton Street, Leicester Square, London, SW1Y 4AJ. Registered in England. All Rights Reserved.

Then my partner and I used it for anal penetration (on her). Normally we also use water-based lubricant from another brand. We applied a generous amount (a few squeezes) of EasyGlide to my penis and around her anus. Penetration was quite easy. You can't really "feel" the slight numbing effect. By that I mean that the anus (and penis) does not feel numb or desensitized. So it's not comparable to something like anesthetic lidocaine cream, and that is a good thing. What you don't want is for the anus to become so numb that you don't notice when the friction starts to cause small tears. Unlike the vagina, the anus doesn’t self-lubricate. Sex could be painful and, when forced, might even lead to anal tears that cause mild bleeding. And we don’t want a bloody scene, don’t we? At first glance, Swiss Navy Silicone doesn’t look like much. But it gets the job done without much fuss. Yes, it could be a safe and natural lubricant for anal play—but it’s not the best anal lube alternative. There aren't many hard and fast rules in the bedroom, but when it comes to anal sex, there is at least one: Using lube is an absolute must.

Before anal

Another great hemp-based CBD lube: Quim Smooth Operator. Made with aloe vera, this soothing formula is latex-compatible and anti-fungal, and it's designed to increase blood flow and decrease inflammation and pain. Both anal play and vaginal play are A-OK with this stuff, which is a bonus.
