About this deal

The 3D white head is designed to help polish stains on the exterior of the teeth and make the teeth appear whiter, whilst the Sensi UltraThin is a softer bristled head that pairs well with the Sensitive cleaning mode available on the Pro 2 2000. All three of the electric toothbrushes are mid range electric toothbrushes built by Oral-B. They all provide different advantages and disadvantages but which one provides you with the best features, best value for money and best portability. Find out in the detailed review below. 1) Features: Oral-B Pro 2000 vs 3000 vs 2500 The Oral-B Pro 2 2500 looks like an expensive electric toothbrush and feels solid in the hand. It features a slimline body, which is easy to grip. Although if you do suffer from arthritis of the hand, it may be on the too thin side. Not only this, but the toothbrush helps you protect your delicate gums with a proprietary pressure control technology, that reduces brushing speed and alerts you to be gentler if you brush too hard.

The only difference between the Oral-B Pro 2 2500N and 2500W (other than the colour) is that the 2500N comes with the Crossaction brush head and the 2500W comes with the whitening brush head. Out of the two brush heads, I much prefer the CrossAction however if you prefer the pink colour, you can just get the Oral-B Pro 2 2500W and buy some CrossAction brush heads separately. What’s in the box? In fact I consider this the best value for money electric toothbrush on the market. I frequently recommend this electric toothbrush to my patients who are on a tight budget. It has all the essential features without being overpriced. Running costs It should be noted, that the brush heads supplied with either the Pro 2 2000 or 3 – 3000 can differ. Most common is the CrossAction or 3D White brush head. But there are a few different options. High street and online retailer Boots, have a different variant of the Pro 2 2500. Instead of a travel case, a tube of Oral-B’s Pro-Expert toothpaste is included and the brush handle grip colour is Blue. I consider the travel case more desirable than the tube of toothpaste. To access this additional mode, you have to press the power button an extra time each time you use the toothbrush. The Pro 2 defaults to the daily clean mode.

Pro 2000 Electric Toothbrush – What’s Inside

It comes with a 2-year warranty as standard which can be extended to 3 years if you register online. This means that you will get a minimum of 3 years use out of it. My Oral-B electric toothbrush is 4 years old and is still going strong. Frequently Asked Questions – Oral-B Pro 2 2500 Review What is the best electric toothbrush?

Whilst many differences exist, I think it is worth listing out the ways in which these brushes are in fact very similar. Perhaps long term the benefits and effects of the more powerful motor are noticeable, so for peace of mind, there is an appeal to opt for the Pro 2 2000. The Pro 3 3000 has 3 cleaning modes (Daily Clean, Sensitive & Whitening) compared to the 2 modes (Daily Clean & Sensitive) of the Pro 2 2000.These 2 brushes fall at the lower end of the electric toothbrush range from Oral-B, but they offer most of what you need of an electric toothbrush at a good price point.
