Hine Rare is a complex cognac with notes of ripe apricot, citrus fruits, oaky with notes of nuts and vanilla. Founded more than 250 years ago, Hine creates the highest quality Cognacs, respecting the Maison's heritage and terroir. It's light and fresh with floral notes of jasmine, acacia, iris, apricot and vanilla and it's velvety smooth on the palate.

It's a blend of several Grande and Petite Champagne Eaux-de-vie with most being older than the minimum 4 years of age. Hine VSOP Cognac is a perfect blend of eaux-de-vie coming exclusively from the Grande and Petite Champagne with about 60% of the blend being the Grande Champagne variety.

This is a blend of over 20 different eaux-de-vie, with at least half from Grande Champagne vineyards with the reaminder from Petite Champagne which allows it to be labelled as a Fine Champagne Cognac. Their base is to be found on the banks of the Charente in the town of Jarnac in the heart of the region.
