Adding a disc to your existing Whole Home Premium network gives you full coverage and gets rid of wi-fi dead spots. If they are connected wirelessly, the ethernet port in the back can be plugged into a non-wifi device, which can then access the same network - this is great to get wifi to a place where it isnt possible to get wires. In general, you want to position your discs approximately halfway between the first disc and the area you're looking to get wi-fi coverage.

We have 10 device running on it and it so fast and smooth and has made my rubbish sky wifi so much better and faster Kids will hate this equipment but I think it's brilliant. To get the best repeated signal from the base Wi-Fi router these discs need to be placed one every 5-6 meters - that’s a lot of very expensive discs. Essentially if a node is receiving low strength signal from the router or another disc then it can only extend or repeat that signal strength.

Range of these AC2600 discs is much better (bigger discs with larger antennas inside / more antennas).
