Korowai had been staging appearances to match foreigners' romantic desires - but their actual lives are something different and more complex.

Viewing such men, one can hardly make oneself believe they are fellow creatures, and inhabitants of the same world.Early marriage for the Kambaris is a common tradition as parents believe marrying off their children at a young age is the best gift they could give them.
