About this deal
HiBiScrub contains chlorhexidine gluconate which binds to the skin to offer persistant and superior protection. In patients with head or spinal injuries or a perforated ear drum, the benefit of use in pre-operative should be evaluated against the risk of contact.
With 4% w/v chlorhexidine gluconate, Hibiscrub is effective against a broad spectrum of microbes, including gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast, fungi, and viruses. It is used for pre-operative surgical hand disinfection, antiseptic hand washing on the ward, and pre-and post-operative skin antisepsis for patients undergoing elective surgery. The formulation may include other inactive ingredients to improve texture, stability, and overall efficacy of the solution. Allergic Reactions: While rare, some individuals may develop an allergic reaction to one or more components of Hibiscrub. HiBiScrub is mostly used in hospitals for pre-operative surgical hand disinfection, ward and pre-operative hand washing and as part of post-operative outpatient aftercare. While Hibiscrub has antimicrobial properties, it is not intended for routine hand hygiene or as a hand sanitizer.
