I’m glad Nick addressed the issue directly though and that he didn’t let his brother get away with it.I’m so sick and tired of this stereotype and I wish people would finally accept that the LGBTQ+ spectrum is huge and that there are other definitions like bisexual or pansexual, etc. This said I really enjoyed this volume and I just love how Alice Oseman goes for the important and serious topics, but still manages to balance them out with cute and fluffy scenes. Alice Oseman is a British author of Young Adult fiction and graphic novels, whose work includes the novel Solitaire and the on-going webcomic Heartstopper. I think it’s safe to say that the focus of this story is on Charlie and Nick coming out to their family and friends. Yes, there is some bad language in these books, but I think that can add to the relatability to young people.
