And Nelson has gone out and found them, and he’s staged these elaborate production shots, which in their technical perfection are gorgeous. In several decades, their traditions will be gone, and even their native dress will have to be faked for tourists. They were understandably reluctant and afraid of this stranger and I was often met with scepticism towards my intentions.
