Super Soluble Maxijul can easily be incorporated into a wide variety of drinks and foods. Super Soluble Maxijul is also useful as an energy enhancer in tube and sip feeds. Recipe ideas are available upon request. To make a solution of Super Soluble Maxijul put the required amount of powder into water and stir briskly with a fork, leave to stand until clear. Grey / Non-Formulary: Medicines, which the Nottinghamshire APC has actively reviewed and does not recommend for use at present due to limited clinical and/or cost effective data. Super Soluble Maxijul in solution has an osmolality one fifth of an equivalent solution of glucose allowing administration at higher concentrations. These products are not nutritionally complete and should not be used as sole source of nutrition. Recommended maximum dosage: 40mls QDS unless otherwise specified by a Dietitian. No new patients to receive prescriptions in primary care. Patients already receiving Red Medicines in primary care should be handled on a case by case basis with the support of the Medicines Optimisation team.
