About this deal

There are interviews with the cast and crew including Richard Briers, Susan Hampshire, Alistair Mackenzie, Hamish Clark, Lloyd Owen, Tom Baker, etc. Molly tries to be welcoming to Paul, realising that being illegitimate is not his fault, and that he was not aware of his parentage until his mother's death.

Andrew starts packing to move away from Glenbogle, and after a clash with Lady Dorothy, Ewan decides to join him. Lady Dorothy plans to build an Eco-Dome, but needs access through Archie's land for her plan to succeed - Lexie is suspicious and goes to investigate. He wants to start an Outward Bound centre on the estate but the locals do not want city youths visiting. Ardverikie House, designed by John Rhind in 1870 and built in the Scottish baronial style, depicts Glenbogle Castle in Monarch of the Glen, while location filming took place in Kingussie and Laggan and scenes involving the loch use Loch Laggan. This episode features special guests Julian Fellowes as Kilwillie; Hamish Clark as Duncan and Richard Briers as the ghost of Hector MacDonald.Although I haven`t been able to conclusively confirm the series was shot from day one in 16:9, I have been led to believe that the show was screened from day one in that format. Monarch was always an ensemble show, and the continual changes in cast prove that nobody was indispensible.

Molly becomes a mother-like figure to Golly's new son, Cameron, after the death of Meg (who never regained consciousness after giving birth). Lots of things he does really annoy me (for instance: was he or was he not a male prostitute in that one episode? The estate is put up for sale and everyone makes arrangements for new homes as Paul and Golly become lovesick and the strength of Glenbogle's residents is put to the test. The series is shown to more than 100 countries on BBC Entertainment (formerly BBC Prime), the BBC's 24-hour global entertainment channel, broadcast to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.Meanwhile, estate worker Golly and local teacher Katrina try to catch the gang who are stealing the estate's precious osprey eggs. Even when the makers make choices that could be termed interesting and are definitely frustrating, and take the show in some unexpected directions in later seasons, you find that you've become so attached to the characters that you'll follow them to the end anyway. The season begins with: Ever since Meg passed away, Golly has been taking care of baby Cameron as a single parent, with the help of his daughter, Jess… What await ahead? A draughty old pile in the Balmoral style, the laird had not only to contend with shoring up the place, but maintaining the cottages of the community who relied on Glenbogle for their living. Meanwhile, Molly must decide between Golly and Killwillie, Donald must face up to his future, alone, Paul must confront his true feeling.

Monarch of the Glen is a British drama television series produced by Ecosse Films for BBC Scotland and broadcast on BBC One for seven series between February 2000 and October 2005 with 64 episodes in total. This is because the show is going off Netflix on February 9th *sniffle*, so I knew there was no way I'd be able to squeeze watched 26 episodes of a very feelsy show into a mere couple of weeks. The series was broadcasting internationally USA ( BBC America and PBS), Australia ( ABC), Canada ( BBC Canada), Norway, Sweden, Hong Kong, New Zealand, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Vietnam and Dubai.

Archie and Hector plan to help Toad escape, as Duncan is helping two policemen who are on the lookout for Toad. The engagement causes friction between Archie and Hector, who disapproves of the match because he fears Lexie may feel trapped on the estate and leave Archie — as Molly once left him. Meanwhile, Jess competes in the local Ghillie's challenge, as the only woman, with all odds stacked against her.
