You'd have to be doing a side-by-side shootout to really pick up differences, so for most people it will work just as well as Aventus but is much cheaper. In comparison, to Club De Nuit Intense Man (CDNIM) L'Aventure takes out the ambroxan and smoke, therefore it's more mass appealing.

Bond No 9 The Scent of Peace for Him is a great one; Dua Fragrances Poseidon's Tux is a clone house with a couple of good fragrances, this is one of them and it features strong pineapple; Creed Aventus of course; Nishane Hacivat Unisex Parfum by Nishane is a powerful pineapple fragrance; Parfums Vintage Pineapple Vintage Intense EDP is another clone house, this version of their Creed Aventus clone favors pineapple over the smoky notes; Roja Parfums Elysium Cologne Parfum Spray for Men is another niche quality pineapple, fruity and woody fragrance; Armaf Club De Nuit Intense EDT is an affordable and good Creed Aventus clone; Tiziana Terenzi is a pineapple, soft incense and dry wood fragrance, very good; Afnan Supremacy Silver is good a slightly sweet, pineapple, black currant, and birch (woody, smoky) fragrance. So if I were to describe the fragrance it would be an orange woodsy/resin/floral with a hint of lemon. Unlike other citrus prominent scents, I can smell the bergamot and lemon on this even after hours have passed. It’s actually stronger but still not as strong as I would like but I just spray more since it is such a good value.

I have always been chasing a certain scent that I catch in passing from time to time but am not the kind of guy to ask what someone is wearing. The only compliment i got is when i got in a car after spraying 2 times is “who sprayed dettol “ , overall solid performance but not my taste . It's got this dark freshly squeezed pineapple feel to it, it has this sweet yet slightly sour opening that is on the darker side. However, it's a little too musky on my skin and so I only wear it when I know I'll be out of the house for a while, so no not really great in lockdown.

The most noticeable opening to dry-down changes are the sharp and strong citrus accords that are noticeable towards the opening but they start dissipating towards the dry-down, on the other hand, the patchouli and musk create a softer citrus fresh accord towards the dry-down. Luckily I am one of the few who still has several bottles of older Armaf CDNI where there was pineapple in the openings, and now I’m the newer version it’s lemon. See, while Club De Nuit Intense EDT has gotten more compliments than any other fragrance in my collection, It’s way too strong sometimes, I could not dare to wear it to the office, it would choke people out, it projects and lasts WAY better than Creed Aventus itself.Pineapple is not listed as a note but it is definitely there, so there is no need to worry about that. Top notes are Bergamot, Lemon and elemi; middle notes are Woody Notes, Lily-of-the-Valley and Jasmine; base notes are Musk, Amber and Patchouli.

yet it still manages to capture a fairly similar aura on a budget which is something of a remarkable achievement in itself. I have even asked people to comment on my fragrance and no one picked up the scent standing less a feet from me, about half-hour to one hour after spraying. However I must say neither does a good job conveying the original fragrance and I cant for the life of me understand how people can say they cant smell the difference. L'Adventure has more in common with Lamborghini Invicibile, another one I own, but smells more natural and is even smoother than that one.There are just a much higher quantity of natural ingredients - especially ambergris - in Aventus when compared to LAI.

I honestly had no idea what Aventus was other than a subtle mention or two on here which went in one ear out the other. Yes the performance is good and improved over the original laventure but its also even further away from smelling like aventus compared to the original laventure. You’re going to get a super juicy pineapple up front and that juicy pineapple stays with the fragrance from the top to the base. After application, L'aventure smells good but as quick as 20-40 minutes later it is a skin scent then another 10+ minutes after it is gone.The opening is very acidic due to the lemon and bergamot, but it very quickly evolves into an elegant manly smell. I been wearing several other more expensive colognes, and this was the first unsolicited complement I have ever gotten. Well, CDNI has way more smoke, and if clones don’t have pineapple in the opening in my opinion, it’s not a true clone of CA.
