Mel Arter described the Max Factor Whipped Creme foundation finish as satin, whilst Caroline Barnes likens it to velvet. I did use it with my Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour and there wasn’t a hint of shine from when I applied it in the morning to when I went to bed. Whilst this foundation won’t be replacing Double Wear as my all-time favourite, it is definitely right up there near the top.
