The biggest plot element I wanted to explore in this reading of HoF is Celaena’s relationship with Rowan. The game offers a large wilderness area in the form of the Frontier and the Davenport Homestead, where the player can hunt animals for materials, which subsequently can be used to construct goods to be traded and sold throughout the colonies. I mean, Sam and Celaena working with pirates to discover what happened to three of their fellow assassins? After my reread, I am really impressed with how SJM was able to interweave new information about magic in Wendlyn and Adarlan with new characters and multi-POVs. Because of Ansel’s story-line we get to see an Ironteeth witch and spider silk, both of which play a huge role in the newer installments of this series!
