About this deal

Perfect for fans of Lindy West, Samantha Irby, and Rebecca Solnit'and anyone who wants, and deserves, to be seen. It's a cautionary tale, typical of stories aimed at young children, yet Hargreaves subverts the form by misinterpreting the moral of the tale.

Pay in 4 is a form of credit, so consider whether you can afford the repayments as use of the product may impact your credit score. In your head you know it is—another few years and you'll realize you're just as entitled to Chromatica Oreos as twinks are. except it wasn't funny as its true although we will give it to you char that she IS also the dog walker, crap picker uperer and general unemployed scivvy in the greedy household.Martin Vander Weyer makes a clear case that capitalism is not dead – but is often broken by broken people.

The continual referral to Munoz, Audre Lorde and others feels like a brief summary of brilliant minds; save your time and read those thinkers instead. Moreso, it isn't necessarily the rich that end up losing money, though in a sense the poor never really had much to begin with. It's one of those that didn't always necessarily speak to me, but that I am grateful is out in the world and that I know will be important to a lot of bi+ folks. Okay, the seas have just become a little rough, so it is going to be interesting to see if I can finish this review in one piece.Think I’m right in stating that as a boy I had all the pre-1990 Mr Men books with the possible exception of “Mr Snow”. This picture book was written in 1971, and it would be considered insensitive and even offensive by today’s standards, which view being overweight as due to more complex reasons than a person loving to eat. I was especially interested in hearing more about that journey, especially as it's compared to the flux and fluidity of bisexuality. When I came across Jen Winston’s Greedy: Notes from a Bisexual Who Wants Too Much, I thought yes, this is the book I’ve been waiting for.

I felt conflicted by the nature of the virtue signaling throughout the book, especially since most of the information on Black and brown queer and trans authors was relegated to footnotes, or squeezed in between forced humor. There’s plenty to love and relate to in Greedy: from the form to the content, Winston engages several important conversations on not only bisexuality, but on desire and belonging as a whole. Her newsletter, The Bi Monthly , is dedicated to exploring bi issues and experiences--it comes out every month, much like Jen herself.
