Pieces of Series 5 are pretty easy to find still, and most of the stuff isn’t all that expensive elsewhere online. That's no doubt aided by the new head sculpt, which includes the tall collar, and that really completes the look of the costume! We haven't had any classic/Universal monsters in the line since Series 5 so this guy is a very exciting addition to the collection. It's kind of amazing that Imaginext went for this variation of the character (and in just the second series too) given the source material, but I'm quite happy to get him!

This is a wild figure with a remarkably detailed sculpt - almost to the point of not feeling like an Imaginext figure, or at least of the current aesthetic. This dude is another weird one-off, that I'd seen described as "post-apocalyptic" somewhere, so I'll go with it (maybe he can fight the Welder guy from Series 8). Shockingly, the head is a two-part piece with the helmet glued on and over a beige skintone neck and "head" - so his ears kind of pop out within their cutaways! I wish they would have ignored the vest sculpt and just painted his torso blue and white, to further push the homage (and cut down on all the black on this figure).Kids can collect all their favorite Trolls© characters for exciting, preschool-friendly pretend play! Each 3-inch-tall figure is styled like a character from the film and features soft, colorful hair, moveable arms and legs, plus a musical accessory piece. The foil packaging follows the standard conceits of the format, but gives a surprisingly good look at all four figures on the front of the package.
Imaginext DC Super Friends Series 1 - Blind Bag Surprise
I was just finishing up my survey of the small diecast and Star Wars sections when my kid came bolting around the corner waving one of those Series 1 bags in my face! He's a straight-up repaint of the Secret Agent from Series 1 - or would be if they hadn't retooled his torso to remove the raised "i" logo from his left breast! The arrangement of the figures is fairly good, though, by putting the more contrast-y figures in the back so that the purple ones don't blend in. The torso does have a big, conspicuous circle on the chest, but the general Iron Man-ish techno design of the rest seems to fit this character well.I had honestly forgotten about the previous Boxer but now that I'm reminded I'm quite happy to have an opponent for both!

Really I don’t know which is more menacing: Deathstroke with his odd one-eyed mask, or the fact that there’s an old man pirate-looking motherfucker underneath. He is a straight repaint of that that Sinestro Corps figure, which means he has a raised circle on his chest for no clear reason.
Still, though, the Invisible Man is a signature part of the classic movie monsters so I'm quite happy to have him in the collection.
