About this deal

Ordinal numbers - Can learners successfully identify which Easter objects are in different positions in the line? Great for maths practise. Looking for an Easter activity book that's suitable for Preschool and Foundation Phase learners? Look no further than this fantastic my first Easter activity book printable resource. It contains several different activities that will keep learners engaged for hours, in the classroom or at home.

Easter colour by shape - The Easter basket needs colouring in, and the little shapes on each section tell learners what colour it should be. Great for fine motor skills. Pattern tracing - Create a funky Easter egg pattern by tracing the lines. Children can use different coloured pencils to make the image bright and vibrant! Great for building the fine muscles in their hands. The illustrations were straight on the point and are classic dePaola. There were a few characters that seemed a bit youngish for their roles but otherwise the characters are portrayed quite classic while the colors are bright but still with a tint of soft pastel to them. Symmetrical drawing - We've provided half an image of a bunny - can learners successfully trace the drawing to make it complete? Colour by number - Correctly colour in the shape by using the number key - great for number and colour recognition skills. The booklet is designed to be used independently by learners, with minimal help from teachers or grown-ups. It can be used during the Easter holidays as a topical way to keep learners doing a bit of hidden learning while they're not in school. Equally, it's great as an activity for learners who finish their in-class work early. What disappointed me with this book is that it is much too brief and only covers the non-religious aspects of Easter. This was a surprise to me since of the facts that the author has done many religious-focused works while some of the aspects that he hosts in the book suggests towards the religion before skipping it.

If you liked this activity book, you could also take a look at this Roll An Easter Bunny Activity, or how about this Easter Maths Activity Book? How are activity books useful? Themed activity books like this one are great for giving learners topical tasks which are helping them with key skills. Younger children may be very excited for a visit from the Easter bunny if they celebrate Easter. All of the activities in this my first Easter activity book printable resource are themed around Easter time.
