I’m fine with reading anything and everything, and not a lot makes me squirm, but stepfamily relations make me squirm. If you love a good enemies to lovers, age gap, forbidden romance with an element of taboo, look no further!It's there in their thoughts and in their interactions with their family, and as we also get a glimpse into the past. He has seen her as childish and annoying in the past and since there is a 15-year age gap between them, they don't have much in common. The hero also has some weird rhetoric about possessivenes and judging other men for not being ok with their women being a cam girl (probably the author's way of making him ok with her job as a cam girl) but that goes out the window when she tries to make him jealous of other men. So I have to start off by saying the first book in this series 'Praise', unfortunately did nothing for me. Sara Cate is a master of making a kink something completely normal and nothing to be ashamed of, even voyeurism. Also Garret’s mental illness, for the most part was dealt with and portrayed well up until it was fully revealed.

This book has a lot of themes, which Sara details before it begins, and I just wanted to say how well written it is <3. I love that Mia is a camgirl, not something I have seen in a book before, so that originality was amazing. When Garrett accidentally discovers his younger stepsister, Mia, is a camgirl, it puts her in an entirely new light for him. When the 3rd act conflict hit, I was super disappointed that it seemed so predictable, after a story that was so unique and then.

I stopped a bit after they actually had sex, but this is by no means a slow burn since they get sexual within the first 10% of the book and then have a sex scene every other scene. And also 2) kink requires trust, so like not surprising people aren’t down for public sex right out of the gate.

This one was super good I loved every second of this couple even the times when I wanted to smack Garrett few times. Until he stumbles on a cam girl app and finds himself watching the one person he should stay far away from: his step-sister, Mia Harris. The steam was *chefs kiss* and there’s a certain scene that will live rent free in my head for the rest of my days 😏🥵. Garrett is a broken man who has his many issues and it broke my heart to learn he’s been suffering in silence all these years, the only thing to calm the mania inside his head has been Mia. Garrett, 13 years Mia’s senior and the co-owner of the sex club that gives the series its name, joined the family when Mia was eight and has always avoided spending time with Mia, whom he thinks of as a brat.I’m hella excited for book 3, I definitely recommend reading this series if you haven’t read it yet.
