The right hand (the grip hand) has a very tight grip, so I do recommend warming that a bit before trying to have him hold the knives, as I’ve run into issues in the past with that knife design breaking while trying to place in tight grips. As mentioned in the intro, the figure includes two interchangeable portraits, three interchangeable left hands, two knives, a baseball bat, a shattered light, a Halligan bar, and a blood covered Silver Shamrock Skull Mask accessory. There doesn’t seem much different between the two other than that, so I expect most fans will pick one and stick with that for their display. The biggest addition is the all-new head sculpt, which features heavy burn marks on the left side of the face, and a bloody gash on the right cheek. A tougher and more costly find, Funko Pop Michael Myers includes a limited chase variant featuring a glow-in-the-dark mask for Myers.

The film will hit theaters, and will be available same day on Peacock Premium for those who would rather watch at home. The success of HALLOWEEN was thanks in large part to Myers, the silent stalking figure, clad in faded coveralls and a haunting white mask who prowled the streets of a small town in Illinois. The Halligan bar (the steel looking bar with the hook on the end), and the busted office style light bulb are a nice change of pace from the standard axes, knives, and machetes most horror characters wield. Not only has the HALLOWEEN franchise seen numerous successful sequels and remakes, films like Friday the 13th, The Prowler and more recently the Scream franchise all pay homage to John Carpenter's classic. Sideshow presents the Michael Myers Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure, an articulated horror collectible that gives you control of this classic killer as he cuts through your collection.Range of motion is good, and you’ll easily be able to have him hold the baseball bat with two hands, or get in more dynamic poses as desired. I surprisingly prefer the black base when posing The Shape; with the lifelike hair sculpt, bloody knife, and sheet with glasses in his left hand.

Inspired by his iconic appearance in the original Halloween (1978) movie, the Michael Myers Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure wears a costume of tailored blue fabric coveralls and a black fabric undershirt as well as sculpted boots.

The Exclusive Michael Myers 1:3 Scale Statue will feature a custom tailored real fabric costume and two interchangeable portraits, one featuring fully sculpted hair and another with mixed media hair. The details are what you'd expect from a company like this, and the accessories add that extra fun when displaying. The torso has also been retooled to add heavy burn marks on the left side of the figure, as well as other damage he sustained in the previous film.

It shouldn’t be a shock that much of this figure uses main body pieces from the 2018 Michael Myers figure. I was a bit skeptical at first because it seemed the internet was griping about the mask and features. The head sculpts have some especially impressive paint applications, as the mask has mixes of blacks, grays, and subtle yellows covering a mostly white face. The figure includes two distinct portraits, one featuring a detailed depiction of his infamous mask, complete with sculpted hair and weathering details, and one portrait with non-removable glasses and a fabric sheet ghost costume.

On the body and head sculpts there are nice pops of blood red peeking out from behind rips and tears. The head sculpt is a nice improvement over the original 2018 Michael Myers figure, though that has seen a running change with a more accurate portrait recently (sorry, don’t have that one in-hand). The articulation is the same as that release, with double jointed elbows, and an articulated waist hidden under the soft vinyl overlay for a more seamless torso. Heavy black soot style paint is scattered throughout the figure, more concentrated on the upper left side, and fades out nicely from there.
